Destination NSW | Eurobodalla Campaign
All kinds of natural.
Featuring unrivalled natural scenery, adventures off the beaten track and skies drenched with a million stars, Found At Sea Films produced this picturesque campaign from the corners of Narooma to the salty shores of Bateman’s Bay.
Filmed over three dawns and three dusks, the crew of 27 were often up at 3am to capture the last frames as the sun slipped behind the western hills, trekking across the coast to capture compelling shots that make you stop in your tracks and think “I need to get there”.
Spending time in this part of the world at any time of the year is food for the soul and reminder for us all to get back to nature as often as we can.
Destination NSW Campaign by Found At Sea
Situated on the south coast of NSW, Eurobodalla, meaning land of many waters, is an almost hidden gem many visitors never get to see. With one of the oldest marine parks in the country at its doorstep, the underwater scenery and abundance of life equally matches the beauty seen above.
To capture the magic of the pre-dawn light, this campaign was shot using the RED Epic Dragon with one of the largest sensors on the market, capturing images where most cameras just see black. Coupled with Cooke anamorphic lenses, the shots deliver a wide panoramic feel to capture cinematic landscapes. We utilised a steadicam rig, operated by Justin Besser, one of the best in the business, to deliver an immersive viewing experience. Hand-held shots were captured using an EasyRig while underwater shots were filmed on Red Scarlet in a Gates housing.
We captured the quintessential essence of Eurobodalla to launch the “All Kinds of Natural” tourism campaign for Destination NSW. The goal was to showcase the undeniably attractive region and all its hidden treasures. The campaign ran across online, cinema and broadcast advertising for 12 months.
