Teachers Health Fund | We’re For Teachers TVC Campaign
We’re for teachers.
Teachers Health Fund is a non-profit health fund with the lives and livelihoods of teachers at its core. Insurance cover is far too often about simply what services are provided to customers instead of seeing customers as people with unique circumstances and needs.
Teachers are some of the most important people in our lives. They provide us with guidance and imbue us with the values that take us into adolescence and adulthood. With such huge responsibility on their shoulders, we often forget that teachers have lives outside of the classroom, with challenges, passions, and dreams of their own.
In our latest work, we continue our longstanding partnership with Teachers Health to create a heartfelt TVC campaign featuring real teachers and the real benefits that Teachers Health cover can provide.
Teachers Health Fund stories by Found At Sea
As a non-profit health fund made exclusively for those in the education sector, Teachers Health Fund occupies a unique place in the Australian health insurance market. As one of a select few Members Health Fund Alliance funds, 91 cents for every dollar in fees is returned to THF members through their medical cover. With limited funding allocated to advertising, Teachers Health Fund is always seeking to create an authentic representation of their members and the benefits they receive to encourage other teachers to join the health fund that seeks to represent them.
At the time of publishing this latest TVC campaign, teachers across Australia have been under pressure – having only recently returned to the normalcy of classwork that has resumed after COVID-19 disrupted learning for millions of Australian students. A teacher shortage and pay crisis has led to the merging of classrooms and workloads increasing across the sector. Against this background of frustration, we agreed with Teachers Health that it was important to present the quiet, untold stories of teachers across the country through this television campaign to remind teachers what a career in teaching is really about.
Working with director Leigh Richards, we sought out heartfelt stories from across the country from real teachers. These crystalised in the stories of Jessica, a teacher with a passion for dance, and Nancy, a Kalkadoon & Mariam woman and 5th generation public education teacher. The content we have produced invites audiences into the world of Nancy and Jessica and encourages teachers to join a health fund that recognises their unique lives in and out of the classroom.
