Your own personal style.

Australia, with its wide range of climates, landscapes, and built environments, ranging from cities to open wilderness, offers those seeking to build a new home a huge range of styles and architectural approaches to choose from. But how should one go about choosing what building materials to select?

Interior designer and style specialist, James Treble, takes us on a journey through five unique home design styles in Get The Look – showing us how to create a cohesive palette of colours, finishes, and textures to create the home of your dreams.

Educational Video Content by Found At Sea

As our first multi-episode piece produced with Brickworks, this project was an exciting exploration of what is possible in a live studio format. With an impeccable on-screen presence, James Treble is a skilled presenter and helped make this series compelling and informative. Combined with professionally styled flat lay boards of selected Brickworks products, James took us on a home styling journey that effectively promoted Brickworks as a premier building products supplier while educating viewers about the principles of design.

The technologies offered by the studio setup allowed us to operate smoothly and efficiently. The BirdDog cameras allowed us to use robotic functionality to easily switch to different camera position presets across our boards without interrupting the flow of James’ presentation. Combined with a fully configurable lighting setup, we could ensure that both James and the showcased products were presented in the best light possible – literally.

Home Design Live Studio Content by Found At Sea

As the first major live video production Found At Sea produced out of the Brickworks broadcast studio, this project gave us the foundation we need to understand the Brickworks studio setup and its possibilities. The studio affords professional camera and audio quality without requiring the setup and takedown of bulky equipment needed for a typical shoot. Furthermore, the generic design of the studio that is not too clinical but also not too stylised affords the use of the studio for a range of potential projects.
